Problem Note 56624: SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Impala now supports VARCHAR and CHAR data types

Cloudera Impala 2.0 now supports the CHAR and VARCHAR data types. SAS recommends using these data types rather than the STRING data type whenever possible.
To access these data types from SAS/ACCESS Interface to Impala, use the Cloudera ODBC driver version 2.5.22 or later. And click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix.
